Born and raised in Orangeville, Ontario, Karen has lived in the Banff for over 25 years. Married to Carsten for the last 20 years Karen has worked with CBS Financial Directions for the last four years. Karen believes that as a local Bow Valley company CBS Financial Directions is well versed in who their clients are and how to best meet their varied needs.

Managing the marketing efforts for CBS, Karen’s role includes taking care of promotion and client relations. In addition to her role at CBS, Karen is a Town Councilor for the Town of Banff and a consultant in the tourism industry.

Karen states her most important job is being a mom to Bjerre, Eric and Connor and couldn’t think of a better place to raise her family than in Banff, the most beautiful place in the world!
